Michters US*1 Bourbon is a versatile whiskey created in small batches in Louisville, the heart of Kentuckys whiskey scene. Each batch of Michters US*1 Bourbon is comprised of no more than 20 barrels, meaning every drop must meet the distillerys exacting high standards before its considered for bottling. The result is an earthy, fruity and sweet Bourbon thats perfect for sipping or mixing.
Serving Suggestions: This is an easy-drinking Bourbon on its own, but for something a little different try it in a classic Manhattan. Stir 45ml of Michters US*1 Bourbon with 15ml sweet vermouth and 2 dashes of Angostura bitters over ice. Strain into a glass and garnish with a fresh maraschino cherry.
Tasting Notes
On the nose is raw chocolate chip cookie dough, hard caramel and vanilla ice cream with a lush fruitiness. It moves into more rich dried fruit on the palate with a spicy, bready kick of cinnamon cookies and gingerbread rolled in desiccated coconut.
